Seasonal Recipes from Cool Foods Sustainable Chefs

This holiday season, take the time to prepare a delicious meal from local and seasonal foods in your area. Keeping your ingredients organic will ensure that you're keeping your “FoodPrint” even lower!

The Cool Foods Campaign is proud to have recipe contributions from two of the best sustainable chefs in the country. Dan Barber, executive chef and co-owner of Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York shares seasonal favorites including turkey pot pie and butternut squash soup. Nora Pouillon, owner and chef of Restaurant Nora in Washington D.C. (the first certified organic restaurant in the country) has included several seasonal recipes including Wild Mushroom Risotto and Pumpkin Puree. Both Restaurant Nora and Blue Hill are proud Cool Foods Pledge Signers and are committed to cooking foods to cool our planet. With such delicious options this season, you'll be sure to have the “coolest” Holidays yet!
